Saturated Blue

Am I okay psychologically, if I only dream in dark colors?
Hello there. For the past two years, I can only dream in hues of blue? Like everything is dark and saturated in blue. Some things still have colors like the tree leaves are bluish-green. Basically what you would see when it get’s dark outside.

I feel fine…kinda bored with my life. Just wondering if this is okay to dream like this all the time?
it IS okay. you’re fine.
you have your own special balance right now that might reflect somethings that you need. everyone has needs but not everyone is in touch with signals that might imply what those needs are.
you definitely want to investigate what the color blue means to you in this situation, and you MIGHT start by investigating what blue means to other people. what trends have been set in terms of human psychology and the color blue? some of these trends might relate to you, and only you can know for sure.
here are some generalizations that may or may not apply to you:
* blue is a restful color for many people. perhaps the dreams are soothing you the way you need, or perhaps striving to communicate that you need rest.
* blue has sad connotations (”feeling blue”). you may have a part of you that feels you have lost something and is trying to communicate that to you.
*boredom is often either 1) a message that you need more challenge in your life, or 2) a message that there are other emotions that need to be resolved, like sadness, anger, fear, etc. if you need more challenge, then take on something new or take your life to the next level of uncertainty. if you’ve got some sadness inside of you, then ask yourself, especially before you go to bed, “what are you trying to communicate to me… what do you need?” and thank this part of you for communicating so generously.

Blue Apatite Gemstones
Many gemstone lovers are fascinated by the ancient lore associated with gemstones, especially in relation to the human body. But whatever you might think about the alleged healing powers of gems, there is one gemstone mineral which is actually produced and used by the human body. That mineral is apatite.
While apatite is a common mineral, gem-quality apatite is quite rare. Apatite is known by gemstone connoisseurs especially for two colors: the paraiba-like blue green, and the leek-green color which once earned apatite the name ‘asparagus stone.’ There is also a very rare deep purple apatite, found in the aptly named Mount Apatite in Maine, USA.
But from the point of view of mineralogy, apatite is a group of phosphate minerals, including hydroxylapatite, fluorapatite and chlorapatite. These vary according to the concentration of hydroxide, fluorine or chlorine ions in the crystal. Hydroxylapatite is the major component of tooth enamel and makes up 70% of our bones.
Apatite-rich rock is also the most important source of phosphorus in the world. Phosphorus is an essential chemical in phosphate fertilizers. Phosphorus is also widely used in explosives, fireworks, pesticides, toothpaste and detergents.
While tooth enamel is the hardest material in the human body, apatite is not especially hard compared to other gemstones, with a rating of only 5 on the Mohs scale. So apatite jewelry is usually confined to earrngs and pendants or occasional wear rings with protective settings. Apatite is also sensitive to heat and acids, so should not be worn when working with chemicals.
When crytals of rutile grow in apatite, the stones may display the chatoyancy or the cat’s eye effect when the gem is cut as a cabochon.
Gem-quality apatite is found in a number of places in the world, including Burma, Brazil and Mexico. The neon blue-green material is found chiefly in Madagascar. When evaluating an apatite gem, color saturation is very important, since the more intense the color, the most valuable the gem. Stones over one carat are rare and will command higher prices in the market. It is unusual to find clean apatite; most pieces have at least some inclusions.

Spill imperils a distinctive culture: ‘There’s a sense of doom’
Talk to Jack Fillinich and you’ll hear it. It’s Sunday morning and he’s sitting in front of the single-story house in Golden Meadow, Louisiana, that he’s lived in his whole life. He’s 69. He’s wearing slippers, jeans and no shirt, repairing a shrimp net. And he’s repairing a shrimp net on a Sunday morning with no shirt on because that’s what he’s always done: fix nets, build boats, go fish.
